1 Day Continental Riding Course
Not been over the water on a bike before? Worried about touring? Concerned about hairpings in the Alps or Pyrenees?
If you want a relaxed introduction to riding on the right, our carefully planned route out of Calais gives you an excellent sample of riding opportunity on a
wide variety of roads including around a dozen hairpin bends - ideal if you are planning an alpine holiday.
The cost of getting to the other side of the Channel has plummeted with a training day over in France now being a viable proposition.
You can opt for a day trip, catching a morning train around 10am to Calais and arriving back in the UK around 6:30,or a two day trip with an overnight stop.
In both instances, you'll get a full briefing on riding on the wrong side of the road, before sampling the delights of riding in France on quiet, well surfaced
roads.
We'll make sure we stop for a meal mid-ride and you'll have time for a quick trip to a supermarket on the way round to take advantage of low-duty goods on both
1 and 2 day trips.

INTERMEDIATE TRAINING COURSES for full licence holders |

1 Day Confidence Building Course
For recently qualified riders who are still a bit nervous on the road after passing the DSA test, this course is also suitable for riders who passed on a 125
and have gained a Restricted Licence and want to move up to a bigger machine, either within the two year 33hp restriction or when moving to a full power machine after the two year wait.
A One Day Confidence Building Course will move you up from test standard and will help you adapt to your new bike, ensuring you can apply basic skills like
steering, braking, slow control and emergency stops and swerves.
If you've very recently passed your test you can use it to help prepare you for a Survival Skills Course.

1 Day Creaky Rider Course
A one day course for returning riders.
Back in the old days, we didn't take training, we just jumped on and learned to ride the hard way. It was a bit hit and miss and we missed out on a lot of
valuable knowledge that a good training course would have offered.
The introduction of Direct Access in 1996 also brought about big improvements in rider skill levels.
So if your licence pre-dates DAS or even pre-dates training courses in general, and you've not been on a bike for a bit, this is the course for you!
A Creaky Rider course will remind you of basic techniques like steering and braking, and will cover slow control and emergency braking. Sorting those skills out
will take a lot of the stress of getting back to into biking.
You can use it to help prepare you for a Survival Skills Course.
