These courses are intended to be short "stand-alone" sessions as an inexpensive alternative to our full length courses, and often take place in the
evening. Courses will include an element of "distance learning" to cover theory, allowing the two hour session to concentrate on practical training. Topics include:
Night riding
Two hours getting used to the hazards of the dark.
Winter riding
The Winter Riding course covers the "do's and don'ts" of machine control skills required to ride in poor conditions. Assessment of road surfaces, anticipation
of problems and stategies for dealing with particular conditions will be explored in detail.
Please Note: these courses run from October to March.

Group riding
Many club and group rides come to an untimely end after a rider makes a mistake - accident statistics show that riders in groups are at higher risk of an
accident than a lone rider. Learn to ride safely in the company of other riders, and understand how you can avoid the problems of peer pressure on group rides.
