Modern bikes are easier to ride, more agile and have better
brakes than ever, and ridden well are fun. They can also
get us into serious trouble in seconds!
Riding on wits, adrenalin and reflexes won’t keep us out
of trouble for ever. So, the more we know, the luckier we get!

Survival Skills Resume
"Kevin had lots of helpful tips for working out what was happening ahead and keeping me concentrating on the road without talking too much and being distracting."

"Here his advanced riding experience and years as a courier showed through."

Years as a courier gave me a unique insight into the problems faced by civilian riders. So our training is very much about real-world riding for real road riders.

Our training blends technical skills, knowledge of risk and self-awareness. This holistic approach to improving your riding will make your riding style more efficient and more relaxed, with mind, body and machine working in harmony.

Whether you are a new rider or already have advanced riding experience, you'll improve with Survival Skills - guaranteed! All you need is to bring along the enthusiasm to get more from your riding, whatever kind of riding you do or type of machine you ride.

You'll enjoy the ride more, and be a safer rider, whatever, wherever and whenever you ride.

"I was at the Warren doing BikeSafe today. Have to say it was a great day (if a bit damp – but I can't blame the guys for that) and a great refresher for Kev's training. Wayne recommended I do IAM/ROSPA based on what he saw today, i.e. he was very pleased ("best rider this year") and I owe it to Kev - thanks, mate."

(Stephen June 07 after a "Confidence Builder" course for a new rider)

Q: Does doing an advanced course mean starting from scratch?

Definitely not. Basic training is of a generally high standard, even if passing the bike test doesn't make you an expert rider.

On the other hand, don't dismiss what's taught as "just to pass the test" either. The safety system you learned is based on the police method!

Survival Skills courses build on what you already know to bring you to the highest standard of riding you can achieve. New riders will expand on the basic skills taught by your training school, and for experienced riders 'Point and Squirt' cornering and Risk Assessment / Management will take you beyond "advanced system" riding.

Wherever your skill level or depth of knowledge lies, the Survival Skills approach to riding will move you up to the next level of riding ability to enhance your enjoyment of your machine.

By focussing on a proactive approach to defensive riding, you'll gain the greatest benefits fromisk assessment and risk management.

Competitively priced, our one-to-one courses are excellent value for money, and suitable for riders of all levels of experience and ability.
